    What you will experience: Located in Amboise, this beautiful 15th- century chateau was the last home of Italian Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci. The chateau and landscaped gardens are now a museum dedicated to the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci himself.

    What you will experience: Founded in 1913 as a bakery, this historic family run enterprise is a local institution, located in the centre of Amboise. Now a chocolaterie, patisserie and ice cream parlour, groups are welcomed by knowledgeable staff, some of whom have been with the company for 30 years. A visit to the chocolate workshop includes a short film and demonstration and concludes with a delicious tasting.
