How many trips to the Chateau have you done?

This was our first visit to the Château.

What was the main objective for your groups trip?

Visit to Historic sites: D-Day landing beaches, museums, WW2 cemeteries; Bayeux Tapestry and Bayeux Cathedral.

What were your groups favorite things about the Château?

The location is the key element for us as from here we are never more than 30-45 minutes to the sites that we wish to visit. Château staff are generally very accommodating and helpful.

Why did you choose Select for your trip?

Good working relationship with the company over the years. Good working relationship with the sales rep, back office staff and staff at the chateau in France.
Cost tends to be competitive in relation to other providers. The location of accommodation in France

What was your experience of working with Select for this trip?

We usually have a positive experience with Select. Office staff are supportive and generally informative.  Response to our feedback and requests has been generally positive and acted upon.

If you were to recommend our Château to another school, how would you describe your experience?

Select are a reliable company who listen to the needs of schools and attempt to cater for them.  During Covid times when the trip had to be re-arranged a number of times, Select were accommodating and supportive.

From a teachers perspective, what did you like best about our Château?

For the type of trip that we do, we only use the Chateau for the accommodation and meals – both are suitable for our learners.  The key positives when in France are the location of the venue and the friendliness of the staff at the chateau.
