Earlier this year, I had the incredible opportunity to rep one of my schools in Orlando — and what an experience it turned out to be. Even now, I think I’m still processing everything we packed into one extraordinary adventure.

Volcano Bay: The Day I’ll Always Remember

Our time at Volcano Bay set the tone for the trip. The aqua coaster alone is something I’ll never forget — equal parts exhilarating and slightly terrifying, in the best way possible!

Kennedy Space Center: Inspiration at Every Turn

Visiting the Kennedy Space Center was truly awe-inspiring. Standing in front of the real launch centre felt like stepping back in time and into history.

Universal Studios: Behind the Magic

Universal was on a whole different level. Getting to explore behind the scenes was genuinely fascinating — understanding how they bring the magic to life and just how massive the operations are left me absolutely in awe. It was EPIC!

Swimming with Manatees: A Once‑in‑a‑Lifetime Moment

One of the most unforgettable parts of the trip was swimming with manatees. Seeing the conservation efforts firsthand and understanding how these gentle giants are protected was incredibly moving. It’s something I’ll carry with me forever — nature and its preservation are so important.

Watching Young People Grow

We were a large group, and one of my favourite parts of the trip was watching the young people grow from day one.
What began with nerves, shyness, and a touch of homesickness transformed into confidence, independence, and endless laughter. Seeing them make new friends, explore the world, and realise what’s possible when you just go for it was genuinely heartwarming.

A Travel Advisor’s Perspective

From a professional standpoint, the trip was invaluable. As a Travel Advisor for Select, seeing firsthand how a trip of this scale operates — from check‑in and logistics to visits and improvements — was so insightful. Understanding it from both the party leaders’ perspective and the company side allows us to keep refining what we do, ensuring every group has the best possible experience.
