    What you’ll experience:

    Danone is a French enterprise with factories around the world. In Spain there are two, in Madrid and Barcelona. In the Madrid enterprise you can view their processes for making milk products, such as yoghurt, and you can even try some of the products. Furthermore the installations and a short video about the history of Danone are shown.

  • El Pais Newspaper

    Subject range: Business Studies

    What you’ll experience:

    El Pais began on 4th May 1976. The newspaper has changed many times and to great extent. During the tour the visitors can see all the departments, such as designing, printing, and many more. The editorial departments of Cinco Días, El País and AS can be visited, as well as students seeing the process of pressing.

  • Castejon Winery

    Subject range: Business Studies

    What you’ll experience:

    During its history, considerable investments have facilitated deep structural and organisational changes, equipping the cellars with the most advanced technology. Fermentation of the wines takes place in stainless steel tanks, with automatic control of temperature and pneumatic pressing. The group will visit the installations and learn how the wine is produced.

    Situated in the south-east of the Madrid region in Arganda del Rey. The cellar was founded in 1959 by Miguel Castejón Aguado.

  • Santander Financial City

    Subject range: Business Studies

    What you’ll experience:

    Visit the Santander Financial City via a tour bus. Students will find out how the project developed, about the features from an architectural point of view, the function of each building, about employee services, and the landscaping of the site. The City provides workers with significant benefits, within both their professional and personal lives, and contributes to one of the group’s priority objectives: individual professional development. The City includes a Training Centre, a high-standard sports centre with a gymnasium, a covered swimming-pool, tennis courts, football fields, basketball and volleyball courts, a modern jogging circuit, and an 18-hole golf course. The City even contains Europe's largest corporate infant school.

The location of central services in a single complex improves the efficiency of the organisation through increased productivity and a considerable cost saving. The chosen layout and design is chosen to facilitate communication and interaction among all the departments. Previously, the Group’s central services were spread over 25 different buildings in Madrid, so the savings on maintenance costs and reductions in travel times between workplaces have been significant.

  • PSA Peugeot Citroen Plant

    What you’ll experience:

    Peugeot is an automotive brand with over 200 years of history, specialized in the manufacture of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, scooters, mobility services such as car rental, bicycles and motor racing. Peugeot has been rewarded with numerous awards for its vehicles, for example, 4 times European Car of the Year, 9 times Car of the Year in Spain, 5 times Car of the Year in Italy and 2 times as Car of the Year in Ireland. The visit consists of a meeting in a hall, where the main features of the plant are presented, plus a guided tour of the production areas.

  • Madrid Stock Exchange

    Subject range: Business Studies

    What you’ll experience:

    Every working day morning, the Madrid Stock Exchange opens its doors to all visitors for a guided tour within the 19th Century Palacio de la Bolsa. All visitors are encouraged to ask questions, assuming a dynamic and active role. The exhibition, made of interactive audio-visuals and screens, facilitates the understanding of the Madrid Stock Exchange characteristics, since its very early days in 1831 up to the last achievements of the New Millennium.
