  • Bavaria Film Studios

    What you’ll experience: The studios are located south of Munich in Grünwald/Geiselgasteig. A great excursion for students – the Bavaria Film Studios are where “Das Boot” was shot as well as many successful German films and TV series. There is a stunt show with special effect and students can see Falcor the dragon from The Neverending Story.

  • Allianz Arena

    What you’ll experience: Students can immerse themselves in the world of professional football at the Allianz Arena, the home of FC Bayern.
    Select says: Tours last approximately 75 minutes for groups and start with a film on the development of the Allianz Arena. After that there is a guided tour taking in the changing rooms, the tunnel, the interior rooms, the press club, the upper tier and a pitchside visit.

  • Neuschwanstein Castle

    What you’ll experience: Neuschwanstein Castle is a nineteenth-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rocky hill above the village of Hohenschwangau in southwest Bavaria. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as an homage to Richard Wagner. The palace was a personal refuge for the reclusive king, and was opened to the public after his death in 1886.

  • Hohenschwangau Castle

    What you’ll experience: Hohenschwangau Castle is a 19th century castle which was the childhood residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. It was built by his father, King Maximilian II of Bavaria.

The museum was established in 1973, shortly after the Summer Olympics.
